Materials in the kitchen in 2021.
Stainless steel (Inox) - an eternal trend
Stainless steel has been at the very top of the choice of materials for sinks and taps for decades, and it seems that this trend will continue in the future. Easy cleaning, resistance to high temperatures, shocks, and chemical influences, the possibility of 100% recycling are just the basic properties that affect the popularity of Inox, but if we add the possibility of different surface structures, we get a winning combination for sinks.
Below we present some modern-classic families of Alveus stainless steel sinks.
Composite material - Granital
Sinks made of composite material have gained in popularity in recent years, and are at the very top among this year's trends. Extremely attractive and durable Granital sinks are available in a variety of natural, earthy tones that will be at the forefront in 2021.
Here we present two very popular families of Granital sinks.
Installation types - Trends in 2021
Currently, the most desirable method of installation is Flush mount (F), in which kitchen sinks installed into the kitchen counter so that the surface of the sink and surface of the worktop are in the same level. And the second most desirable installation type is Undermount sinks (U) which allows installation from the underside of the kitchen counter, with the edge of the sink covered by the surface of the kitchen counter made of natural stone or composite materials.
